CARe Europe is an International network which serves professionals, service users and organizations to promote the transition from institutional to community-based and recovery-based care in the field of social care and welfare services. CARe Europe is active in 17 different countries in Europe, in the Caucasus and in Central-Asia providing professional and small scale financial support for NGOs in Eastern European and Post-Soviet countries.
CARe Europe Academy is the educational and training program of CARe Europe Foundation. The aim of CARe Europe Academy is to involve more professionals and peer support workers to the practice of recovery oriented community-based services in the field of mental health and disability care.
In 2015 February CARe Europe will launch their “Train the Trainers” program on Eliademy.com for professionals who are ready to learn about CARe methodology and to join them as trainer in the future, representing their approach in their countries. This methodology contains a practical way of supporting people with psychosocial vulnerability in their recovery process, to live as full citizens in the community.
“Eliademy provides us an excellent opportunity to involve professionals from all over the world. Online opportunities supported by well established educational tools can help to reach even middle- and low income countries with our programs. In these countries majority of professionals can’t afford to participate in expensive Western European or American training and development programs while with Eliademy we can reach them in a cost effective way”.
CARe Academy’s Train the Trainers program will last for three Semesters between 2015 February and 2016 June where they will combine face to face training modules with e-learning solutions using Eliademy’s educational platform.
