Today, we are proud to welcome on Eliademy the Czech Non-Governmental Organization PASOS. PASOS stands for Policy Association for an Open Society. It is a network of independent policy centers in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia who have a shared mission to promote and protect democracy, human rights and open society values. The key areas the organization is working on are democracy & human rights, good governance & open economy, sustainable development and international co-operation.
“Eliademy looks excellent and seems to have all the features we want in a learning platform”, says Alfredo Azula, Communications Manager of PASOS.
The NGO plan to use Eliademy in the framework of their project “Partners in Empowerment”, funded by the EU’s European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). Started in January 2015, it aims at increasing public accountability and effective policymaking for sustainable development in some Eastern European countries, namely Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. In this project, six NGOs will work together with PASOS: the Office for a Democratic Belarus, the Center for Economic and Social Development in Azerbaijan, Transparency International Armenia, Transparency International Moldova, Transparency International Ukraine and Partnership for Transparency Fund.
“Partners in Empowerment” is a three-year project, which will include a variety of activities, such as workshops, training seminars and the creation of courses online.
We are very glad to be able to help PASOS in its mission to promote and protect democratic values by providing it with a free user-friendly e-learning platform.
Eliademy Premium is offered for free to all nonprofits and public academic institutions. To learn more about the use of e-learning by NGOs, you can read our blog post “How NGOs use e-learning”.
