We have done many updates on our servers this month. Now the users can sign into Eliademy using their LinkedIn accounts. The feature is not new, but it stopped working earlier because of some changes in LinkedIn authentication API’s.
We have improved Quizzes as well. The issue with copy-pasting data from spread sheet applications like Microsoft Excel and Libre Office into Quizzes is fixed. Clipboard data contained multiple formats of same data and it was not handled correctly in our code which was the root cause of the problem.
We are sending over 600.000 emails per month so we had to improve validation in the ‘Send-email-invitations’ screen. We had to improve validation in order to avoid users misusing our email servers and sending spam messages by utilizing a free service.
One update in Organization management as well. Removing a user from an organisation will automatically unenroll the user from all the confidential courses of the organisation. So now you can remove a student from your organisation and automatically from the courses within the organisation.
We also updated our Video servers with more storage capacity and got better prepared to support the 1.000.000 students that we expect that we will be serving this year.
For the new free users there is an upload limit of 200 MB on our video servers. The change is not affecting Premium and existing free users.
A minor fix also on the the participant count in tasks and dashboards will not include the owner of the course. Also the profile page is updated, you can see the list of your learning courses at there.
The Gradebook layout issues are fixed now. It is displayed in pages when more than 100 users are present, it is sorted based on completion status and name of the user, and completed user details and displayed in different background color.
Course admins can export the user directory into csv format now.
